At Luxe Noir Magazine we seek to inspire new perspectives on travel on the African continent and last night delivered just that. We were pleased to be part of the very first TED Fellows Salon in South Africa.
TED Fellows Salons are located in five inspiring cities around the world each year, with Cape Town kicking things off for 2019. The salon is a collaboration between the Marriott hotel group @marriotthotels and @tedand brings together innovative and creative minds, sharing their work and creating content that will inevitably inspire our travels and perspectives.
Last night, we witnessed presentations by Bill Sellanga on the inspiration behind his work and insights into the Kenyan music scene as well as Dr. Steve Boyes’ awe inspiring work with the @nationalgeograhic Okavango Wilderness Project. Superb initiative!
